We are delighted with the work Mick did for us on the two occasions we have needed his services. Both times he was friendly and did a great job. Each time we needed work doing as a matter of urgency, the first time because our chimney was crumbling and the second time because our porch roof was in danger of collapsing. The price quoted and charged on both occasions was fair - at no point did we feel Mick was taking advantage of the fact that his services were required urgently. All in all we've been really pleased with the service we have received from MDH and happily recommend them to anyone who asks.

MDH was recommended to us when we needed a builder to assist with a total refurbishment project on our new house. We spoke to a number of builders before choosing one for our project, but Mick was the stand out choice as someone who quickly instilled confidence in his ability and service. We were not let down. Mick and his team turned up when they said they would, completed work to a high standard, cleaned up after themselves and charged us a fair price. Mick was friendly and accessible throughout the job and worked flexibly and patiently as the scope of the project changed. Would we recommend Mick? Without a doubt - so long as that doesn't mean he's too busy to squeeze in some block paving for us next year!

I have dealt with MDH for well over ten years now. MDH did the property maintenance for the company I worked for and impressed with the quality of work they turned out I used them for work on the two properties I owned. MDH have carried out a wide variety of work for me, building, patio laying, window replacements, roof repairs and much more. MDH is a local to the area; I contacted them in February 2010 for advice and quote for several jobs that needed doing. Mike arranged a time to come and give a quote; he arrived on time and went through what was the best options and even went out of his way to obtain the correct type of ventilation tile that was required for a job on the roof. His quote arrived a couple of days later, itemised which was very good to see and the price fair.
We agreed a start date which was kept too (unusual with so many traders today) and the work was carried out quickly, cleanly and to a high standard. We have since had a quote for further work to be done which we hope to carry out very soon. Mick is a very approachable a pleasant chap and I would definitely recommend M D H for all types of building work.P Wainwright

Mick is one of the most reliable and experienced trades I know. He understands all aspects of building work, any questions you have he can answer or will find the solution to. He will always treat you with respect and regard. We have used MDH for a few years now and hopefully will continue to do so in the near future. He is always on time and always charges a fair price for the jobs needed.
We have had a couple of extensions done for houses we own and he has always pulled in the work, worked to a very tight schedule and high standard. The work carried out has been extremely impressive.

Mick has worked for me since 2005 doing anything from large kitchen extensions, through block-paving to moving doorways and re-pointing. He has a huge amount of experience, doesn't cut corners and always applies careful thought to any problems we have come across so that a solid solution is found.
