Can’t rate Mick highly enough as a builder. We had a small extension, garage conversion and kitchen redesign completed by Mick and Paul. The job was not simple but nothing was too much trouble, and the work was completed to a very high standard. Mick is excellent with communication and is a genuinely nice bloke who was very respectful of our house and would clean up after each day. I would highly recommend MDH building and roofing. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Mick is a truly honest and friendly builder/tradesman. I’m always scared when it comes to these things, but I felt so comfortable with him and his knowledge.
Kept me up to date with what was happening and what he was doing, breakdown of quote/invoice was great.
He has done such a wonderful job and understood what we as a family was trying to achieve.
I will definitely recommend and should we need any further work doing, we will be using Mick again.

I am delighted with the work done by Mick and Paul. They were friendly yet conscientious and worked hard even when it was so hot. Mick discussed all aspects of the job as they went along ensuring i was happy and approved any tweaks. They problem solved without fuss and nothing was too much trouble. MDH Building and roofing built a 2 storey annexe adjoining the main house, on first meeting Mick at the quotation stage i knew from the outset that we would get along he was very helpful offering advice and alternative suggestions on materials to keep costs down he had some great ideas and even passed on some good contacts for upvc windows etc. When the build started both mick and paul worked hard day in day out to keep the job going and on time, if there where any problems mick is very knowledgeable to overcome these and will contact building regs on your behalf at each stage, when the project was complete i asked mick to re-roof the rest of the existing house as was looking a bit shabby and again just left them to get on with it. i have and would definitely recommend MDH to all.

Really pleased with our Porch project that was completed to our full satisfaction Via Mick the owner & Paul. The project was all itemised & priced up separately via email, so if we was to change our mind on a certain item we would know the new price.
Mick & Paul were prompt every morning to Commence work every day from start to finish. Mick is very approachable to design ammendments and will also advise with out being to pushy.
A final email was sent showing payment received with thanks from Zoe. ????
Thanks again MDH CONSTRUCTION for our Porch and Canopy, we both love it & have had loads of positive feed back from friends & neighbours.

We used MDH to build our side extension and patio for us, from the outset and during the planning stage Mick gave good advice and ideas. Mick also put us in touch with an architect which helped get the ball rolling.
When the work began there was good communication throughout and you could always see progress at the end of each day. When some challenging parts of the build where encountered Mick and Paul always sat back and thought how best to do the task.
All the work was done to a very high standard and they always cleaned up at the end of each day.
A notable mention to both Mick and Paul for the effort they made working through the cold winter months especially fitting the roof tiles.
If you want a fair, honest and reliable builder give Mick a call.

I feel I must express my gratitude to MDH for the manner in which they undertook the replacement of windows and flooring in my home.
At all times I was impressed by the friendly and courteous attitude shown to me and by the fact that each punctual visit was confirmed prior to arrival. The timetable for the work was made around my availability, bearing in mind the likely manufacture and delivery dates, and programmes fixed , confirmed, and more importantly, adhered to by MDH.
The very competitive cost of the works was agreed prior to the ordering of the materials, and adhered to. There where no additional costs added! The quality of workmanship was very acceptable
After completion of the works the areas were thoroughly cleaned to our satisfaction.
All in all, a brilliant performance. I would not hesitate to use MDH in the future and would recommend them to othersE.Thrower

I am pleased to recommend Mick for the quality of work and his ability to be unobtrusive. We had a small extension completed with the minimum of fuss during a very cold September. When we required a boundary fence we turned to MDH again who completed to a high standard in the minimum time possible. I was very sure about what I wanted and Mick was able to create the finished article. We at no point were inconvenienced which is the best you can hope for during these alterations. I would not hesitate to recommend MDH for the quality and personnel approach.

Ann and I are very pleased with the patio. You have done a fine job with a minimum of disturbance to us or our neighbours. This is more impressive considering the amount of cutting you had to do to match the irregular area and that you demolished a wall and also removed the existing paving. The final cost was as your detailed quotation plus the extras which I requested and we agreed as the job progressed. It has been a pleasure doing business with you and I would not hesitate to use you again or recommend you to others.
